The Adventure Playground is currently closed and will reopen for the Easter holidays - 28th March-12th April Following this period, we will continue the refurbishment project. We are looking to replace and remodel the playground to improve the quality, safety, and overall experience for our visitors, creating a space that children can enjoy for years to come. Play equipment and associated materials are extremely costly, and we would be incredibly grateful for any support. Donations of time, material resources, or funds will directly help bring this project to life. We also welcome support from local businesses through volunteering opportunities or sponsorship. Every contribution, big or small, will make a meaningful difference. If you’re able to help in any way, we would love to hear from you. Our Adventure Playground is the perfect place for children to explore, play and let their imaginations run wild. Set within beautiful natural surroundings, it offers plenty of space for climbing, balancing, exploring and enjoying active outdoor play.
It’s a wonderful spot for little adventurers to burn off energy, discover nature and make the most of outdoor play during your visit.
We are currently refreshing and developing the playground as part of an ongoing improvement project, with plans to continue enhancing the space over time. While the refurbishment progresses, the playground remains open for families to enjoy during the Easter holidays.
The Adventure Playground is a part of the SEND (special educational needs and disability) Pavilion so is a great place for children of all ages and abilities to come and play, there is an array of sensory play including sound, light, touch and colour to discover.
